Artist Ninney Murray (Jirrbal) is a Traditional Owner of the Davidson Creek area. Ninney lives at the Jumbun Community at Murray Falls, north-west of Cardwell. She is an Elder of her people.

Bigin (Shield) Bowl is an unique pottery design, specific to the Girringun Artist Collective. Inspired by the shape and form of the traditional rainforest shields (bigin) of the Girringun region these hand-made and individually painted ceramic bowls are highly collectible. Traditionally made from a light weight timber the shields were used in battle and painted in patterns which reflected tribal affiliations. This item is a hand-crafted, one off original item and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
